Hispanic Leadership Focuses on Jerusalem

The International Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem welcomes Rev. Samuel Rodriguez, current President of The National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference as a partnering leader in the annual global prayer movement for Jerusalem. Featured as one of “America’s 7 Most Influential Hispanic Leaders” by the Wall St. Journal, Rev. Rodriguez officially endorses this international prayer initiative for Jerusalem, and has committed to mobilizing membership churches to join millions of Christians in prayer on October 6th.
Rev. Rodriguez explained: “More than ever, we are in an Anti- Semitic wave, emerging not only on college & university campuses, but also in many public arenas and different governmental settings around the world. It’s aiming again at Jerusalem and the Jewish people. The Firewall against Anti -Semitism in the 21st century, IS the body of Christ… the Church of Jesus Christ… I encourage our 250,000- 400,000 Hispanic Evangelical Churches throughout America and Puerto Rico to come together on the first Sunday of October - October 6 -as the Church of Jesus Christ, in prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem. More than ever, we need to understand that these are troubled times; we need the church to rise up in righteousness and justice.”
