Current Category: Watchmen
The Watchmen on the Wall Training Program involves a broad-based curriculum written by knowledgeable Christian leaders, full of relevant material and assignments. Training includes written materials, recorded teachings, and live seminars, which cover the history of the Jewish people, the history of Christian Anti-Semitism, media bias, a basic understanding of the current conflict, reasons for standing with Israel and instruction for becoming an articulate spokesperson and informed intercessor for Israel and all of her people.
The Watchmen on the Wall curriculum consists of a manual and four Audio CD teaching sets, available from the
KAIROS Resource Center. The manual includes statistics, facts, and insights from knowledgeable Christian Leaders in the land, contains lists of additional resources for people who desire to delve deeper into a topic, and presents a series of study questions after each chapter to reinforce the teaching and to use for group study and discussions. The four Watchmen audio teaching sets* contain a variety of themes that supplement the manual and include not only foundational teaching, practical guides for prayer, plus facts and figures concerning political issues, but also exhortation and encouragement to help keep each Watchman strong and focused as they intercede.
(*Only Watchmen CD Set I, II and an additional CD on Islame are required for commissioning.)
A second part of the Training Program, required for official Watchmen Commissioning, is the Watchmen Prayer Pilgrimage to Israel. On this trip believers will experience what they have read in the manual and heard on the CDs, and put into practice what they have learned in their prayer training.
If a believer wants to be commissioned as an official "Watchmen on the Wall" by both Christian and Jewish religious leaders, as well as Israeli governmental officials, this is done in Jerusalem during a Watchmen Prayer Pilgrimage.
In order to be commissioned, we require only the Watchmen Manual, the first two Audio CD Sets, one of the recommended documentaries, plus some homework questions. The specific requirements will be sent to any person embarking on our Prayer Pilgrimage or to anyone who notifies us of their intent to be commissioned, by sending an email to office@eagleswings.to

Why Stand With Israel
How we in The Church live and pray in this critical hour, not only has tremendous spiritual repercussions in God’s purposes for our own lives, but will also have serious consequences for The Church, for Israel, and for the nations of the world. Judging from the large percentage of Bible text dedicated to the literal fulfillment of Messiah’s return and Israel’s place in fulfilling that divine event, God has a plan and a world timeline that eclipses our nation and our personal world, that revolves around Israel and His purposes there. If we are to fulfill our destiny – which despite having an individual aspect, is intended for the overcoming of the corporate Body of Christ and the eventual establishment of Jesus’ Throne in Jerusalem - then we must understand what is currently happening in Jerusalem and Israel.
We must also understand the history of Israel, Jerusalem, and the Israeli-Arab issues because historical facts and archeological evidence – not to mention Biblical accounts – reveal verifiable truth. This is often lost in our current news reports and Middle East “journalism.” British Statesman and Philosopher Edmund Burke said: “Those who do not know history are destined to repeat it.” The growing worldwide anti-Semitism & demonization of Israel surrounding current Middle Eastern issues, is creating a political climate eerily similar to the years right before the rise of Hitler, his Third Reich and his genocidal “Final Solution” – the Holocaust. As God’s representatives of Christ here on earth, we dare not make the same mistake of being either ignorant or silent regarding the Jewish community as was the European Christian Church during World War II.
Albert Einstein, the brilliant Jewish physicist said: “The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it.” In order to know what to do, one must understand what is happening, as well as what is truth and what is not.
You do not have to buy or complete the study of the Watchmen curriculum all at one time nor in any specific sequence. The Watchmen Manual, as well as each of the CD Training Sets can stand alone as educational tools, although all are recommended for a more thorough study of this important topic.
For people choosing to go on the Watchmen Prayer Pilgrimage first, we strongly encourage them to purchase the whole required curriculum since they will already be in Israel and can be commissioned at the ceremony.
We recommend that anyone going on a trip to Israel purchase the Watchmen Manual in order to more fully benefit from their experience of being in this historic land.
There is an extremely high level of spiritual authority conferred upon a Watchmen when not only Christian and Jewish religious leaders, but also governmental leaders, officially commission a believer to be a Watchmen for Israel, Jerusalem, and the Jewish people. For that reason, there is a sobering sense of accountability that we feel, before God, to raise up Watchmen who can walk with maturity, faithfulness, and spiritual sensitivity as they wear this mantel. The following are the requirements – on the surface level – for commissioning as a Watchman on the Wall.
Please note: The two parts of the training program do not need to be done back to back but can be done in those seasons where God provides you the time and the money. You can complete the curriculum requirements and then at a later date, you can make pilgrimage and be commissioned.
I. CURRICULUM – All products are available through the Kairos Resource Center (716-759-1058).
STEP 1. Study the Watchmen on the Wall Manual, answering the questions at the end of each chapter.
STEP 2. When you are finished with the Manual, please photocopy the Question pages – with your written answers - from the end of each chapter and send them to our Buffalo office. Please be sure to bundle them together with your name and contact information in
order to identify whose work they are.
STEP 3. Listen to the 9 WOTW workshops from WOTWraining Sets I & II, plus the additional CD on Islam & Islamic Ways - and review their accompanying PowerPoint presentation. An alternative is to participate in a Watchmen Training Seminar which covers the material in a day and a half seminar.
STEP 4. Watch the documentary from Honest Reporting: either “Relentless” or “Obsession” or “The Third Jihad.” The last two are the more recent documentaries and the preferred resources, but if a copy of "Relentless" was already purchased, it will be accepted as credit for this assignment.
STEP 5. Write us a brief paragraph for each of the below:
1. What are seven Biblical and Non-Biblical reasons why it is important for believers to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and for the Jewish people?
2. Explain 2-3 Media distortions and the correct facts from each situation. (Ex. –
Massacre at Jennin? Who killed the 12 year old Palestinian Boy?)
3. What is Replacement Theology? Give at least 3 reasons why it is in error.
4. Briefly discuss:
a) How does “abrogation” work in interpreting verses from the Koran?
b) Explain how Islam “is a complete system” rather than just a religion.
c) Explain the “Dualistic Logic’ of Islam.
II. WATCHMEN PILGRIMAGE: Be part of an Eagles’ Wings Pilgrimage to Israel, putting into actual practice what you have learned in the curriculum.
Yes. The gathering of facts and knowledge is one important part of learning, while the experience of applying that knowledge to real life, on-site situations is equally important to master any skill or science. What “Student Teaching” is to the Educational Field or the Laboratory is to Chemistry, the Watchmen Pilgrimage is to the fullness of our training. Seeing the land with both its current issues and past history, experiencing the people, and praying with them as well as at various sites, all put into practice what one has only read and studied.
After completing the Watchmen on the Wall curriculum and Prayer Pilgrimage to Israel, participants are commissioned as Watchmen on the Wall, with official recognition from the State of Israel, the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem leadership, and Eagles' Wings. If participants travel on the Feast of Tabernacles trip, they will have the opportunity to be commissioned in a special ceremony in the city of Jerusalem during our Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem celebration. In past years, this celebration has been televised live by God TV to over 200 nations
First of all, certification for Watchmen on the Wall teachers is primarily by “invitation only,” but we also welcome inquiries by mature Christian candidates who have the gift of teaching, God’s passion for Israel & her people, and the humility to serve. We do ask for a letter of recommendation from your Pastor or your spiritual covering to be sent to our main office:
Eagles’ Wings
PO Box 450
Clarence NY 14031
Attention: Wendy Miller
1. The candidate must be a commissioned Watchman already. Some exceptions can be made when people have already had extensive ministry experience in Israel or have been with Eagles’ Wings on one of their prayer journeys before the Watchmen Pilgrimage was established.
2. The candidate submits a video of them teaching so we can evaluate their experience and gifts in this area. A video rather than an audio is preferred at this point because there is much communication that takes place via facial expressions and body language.(This video requirement can be waived by us if we already have exposure to the candidate’s teaching ability.)
3. If the candidate’s “presence” and teaching skills are of a sufficient level, they would then be invited to Co-teach a WOTW Seminar with a Certified WOTW Teacher. During that co-teaching opportunity, the candidate will present two of the workshops during which time they will be observed and evaluated on their ability to present the material and interact with the audience.
4. If the candidate’s “presence” and teaching skills are not of a sufficient level, they would be asked to observe a WOTW Seminar and then co-teach at a subsequent one. During the second co-teaching time, the candidate will again present two workshops during which time they will be observed and evaluated again on their ability to present the WOTW material.
5. If upon observation, the candidate is considered ready to present the WOTW workshops as the primary teacher in future seminars, WOTW Certification would be granted.
6. If the candidate still has not improved enough to be a primary WOTW teacher, we will ask the candidate to obtain further teaching experience at the local church level and apply again at a later date.
What Leaders Are Saying

Rev. Willem J.J. Glashouwer - Christians For Israel International
"Prayer is fulfilling God's command in Isaiah 62:7: '...and give Him no rest till He establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth...' So my prayer is: O Lord, please fulfill your promises to Israel. You have sworn: ...NEVER AGAIN... in Your word. Thank You, Oh Lord, that You will keep all Your promises You made to Israel. Thank You, Oh Lord, that one day the nations will know and see Who is really GOD."
